Funny Over Fifty showcases the most hilarious women and non-binary folk in NYC who happen to be over the age of fifty. Born out of the multigenerational storytelling series, Generation Women, our shows are a warm and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. 


Maribeth Mooney is a stand-up comic, writer and actor living in New York City. As a comedian she has performed on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and throughout the US and Ireland. She has written for McSweeney’s, The Rumpus’ Funny Women and The Belladonna Comedy. She does not tan. 

Award-winning comedienne Mina Hartong (Curve Magazine- One of America’s Funniest Lesbians) has been performing and touring for over twenty years and produces her own comedy show Lez Out Loud. When she is not on stage, Mina enjoys teaching and developing new comics. Recent appearances include The Triad Theater in New York City.

Kelli Dunham is the type of nonbinary polyamorous ex-nun nurse comedian that makes certain people loathe Brooklyn. Kelli has appeared on Showtime, PBS the Moth Mainstage and will be taping Second Helping their hilarious show about death, grief, and preposterously ineffectual bootstrappiness live from an NYC funeral home this fall. 

Robin Lakin, a Brooklyn native, has been lighting up the stage, screen, and stand-up comedy circuit in a career that spans over 30 years. She was seen as a semi-regular "Man on the Street" on the Wendy Williams Show and is currently making the film festival rounds as the lead in the award-winning short film.

Rhonda Hansome is a comedian, storyteller, writer and director. To get started on your one-person-show, join her Wednesday Solo-Show workshop. Rhonda writes the cartoon Politoonitics, seen on FaceBook and is the Real Newz anchor of Politipod podcast. Hollie Harper is the creator and co-exec-producer of Hella Late! with Hollie Harper on BRIC TV. She was nominated for best actress for the 2021 NYC Web Fest. She was a 2019 NBC Standup Competition semi-finalist and was featured on NY1, Black Enterprise Magazine, Black SD Magazine and Thrive Global.
